Hotel Metropole

The Metrópole Hotel has a very privileged location, in the heart of Belo Horizonte. You have easy access to the city by bus or taxi and are very close to the "Parque Municipal" (Municipal Park) and Palácio das Artes (a place for cultural and artistic exhibitions).

When staying at the Metrópole Hotel you also have easy access to restaurants, shops, shopping centres. Shopping Cidade, for instance, is only two blocks away. Recommended restaurants nearby are ‘Cantina do Lucas' and ‘La Greppia'.

You can also easily visit the city centre and the suburbs from here. There are many bus lines that will take you to (almost) anywhere you want to go!

The Metrópole Hotel is located on Bahia Street, which is a very traditional and historic place in Belo Horizonte. This street was part of the city's original plan and was visited by many important artists, such as Carlos Drummond de Andrade and Pedro Nava.

By Car: The Metrópole Hotel is located at the heart of the center of Belo Horizonte. To get there by car, follow the signs for the Praça Sete Square or Station Square. The hotel is on Bahia street.

From the Airport: If you are landing at the International Airport of Belo Horizonte or the Pampulha Airport, the best option is to get the executive bus Unir and get off at Álvares Cabral Avenue, the last stop. From there get a taxi to the Metrópole Hotel, or walk down Bahia Street for 2 blocks.

From the Bus Station: If you are coming by bus, once you get at the bus station search for the registered taxis that are parked inside the station and ask them to take you to the Metrópole Hotel. It is quite close.
