International Theatrical Improvisation Festival

Place: Teatro Alterosa, Galpão Cine Horto and Máscaras Casa de Dança

The International Theatrical Improvisation Festival is an initiative of the Professional Improvisation League of Belo Horizonte - an art group that started on 2006.

On its first edition in the city, the festival already had a good selection of worldwide theatrical groups, including the "Complot e Escena" (Mexico), the "Colectivo Mamute" (Chile), the "Liga Profesional de Improvisación" (Argentina) and also some national companies, like "Cia. do Quintal" and "Cia. Acômica".

The culmination point of the festival was the Campeonato de Match de Improvisação (Improvisation Championship). The selected artist of each country will meet at stage to engage in a thrilling battle, to identify which one is the most skillful.

This year edition we still don't know wich groups are going to present, but it will happen in october.
