International Dance Festival (FID)

Comprising tow main programs - Minas Territory (Território Minas), International Connection (Conexão Internacional) -, the Festival was shaped 12 years ago by "Atômica Artes". Since its beginning, FID was committed to work for the diffusion, reflection and creation of new producers in the field of contemporary dance. In 2010, the FID walks for its 13th edition trying to incorporate new knowledge about worldwide dance.

The Minas Territory program has the goal to foment the dance in Minas Gerais. Moreover, it has the FIDoteca, where the public will be able to watch a digital archive that reconstruct FID`s 13 years of history.

The International Connection program is the event where the FID promotes the internationalization of the local and Brazilian dance, besides an interchange with foreign companies.
