We will stay and eat in the best available places and accommodation, always inside or at least very close to the best birding spots. Our transportation is always in air conditioned vehicles with lots of space for luggage and equipment.

Day 1 - Belo Horizonte/Canastra National Park
Distance: 360 km
Time: 5 hours
- Arrive at the International Airport and transfer to São Roque de Minas (360 km) where the Canastra National Park is situated.
- Check in at Pousada Chapadão da Canastra.
- Stay overnight.
Days 2 & 3 - Canastra National Park
- Spend all day exploring and birding at the Canastra National Park. You have great chances of spotting the Pampas Deer, the Giant Ant-eater and the Manned Wolf. Trail lunches are served during the day; dinner is at one of the local restaurants.
- Stay overnight at São Roque de Minas.
Day 4 - São Roque de Minas / Caraça Natural Reserve
Distance: 429 km
Time: 6 hours 20 minutes
- After breakfast, transfer to the Caraça Natural Reserve (500 km).
- Lunch on the road and have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.
- Check in at the Caraça Monastery.
- Dinner at Caraça's restaurant.
- Stay overnight.
Day 5 - Caraça Natural Reserve
- This is the first day to explore this fantastic reserve. After dinner, go to the church's patio to wait for the Manned Wolf. You even get to feed the big animal.
- All meals are at Caraça's restaurant.
- Stay overnight.
Day 6 - Caraça Natural Reserve / Caratinga (Caratinga Biological Station)
Distance: 232 km
Time: 3 hours
- After breakfast, you will have more time to enjoy and observe the local flora and bird life in the unique ecosystem around the sanctuary. Before lunch, check-out and transfer to Caratinga, arriving at the end of the afternoon.
- Check in to the Vind´s Hotel.
- Lunch on the road and dine at the hotel restaurant.
Day 7 - Caratinga Biological Station
- The researchers of the Biological Station know exactly where the animals are, increasing your chances of seeing the primates. Here, in this Conservation Program, you get to observe and study various species of flora and fauna.
- Return to Caratinga at the end of each afternoon.
- Trail lunch is at the Biological Station and dinner at the hotel restaurant.
- Stay overnight at Caratinga.
Day 8 - Caratinga - Belo Horizonte
Distance: 287 km
Time: 3 hours 40 minutes
- In the morning, check-out and depart to Belo Horizonte. Transfer to the airport or to the final destination. You will have lunch on the road to Belo Horizonte.
