Barão de Cocais is a city located in the centre of Minas Gerais State. It possesses the typical architecture from the gold mining period with colonial houses and stone paths. The waterfall is made up of ten falls that drop down a 30-metre hill and end in natural water sprays and a large natural swimming pool.

- Location: Pedra Pintada Sanctuary in Barão de Cocais.
- 6:30 am - Departure from the Belo Horizonte railroad station to the town of Barão de Cocais.
- 9:00 am - Arrival at Barão de Cocais. You will be taken to the Cocais village by van.
- Breakfast in Cocais and trek 4 km to the archaeological ranch of Pedra Pintada, where you will see many rock paintings.
- Trekking to the Pedra Pintada Waterfall (1.5 km), one of the most beautiful of Estrada's Real Circuit. It is also the perfect spot for adventure sports such as rappelling.
- At the end of the afternoon, you will return to the accommodation for a delicious home-made meal.
- Return to Belo Horizonte by van.
