The rooms are spacious with elements that refer to typical "mineiro" features; for example, the décor includes the use of bamboo, and cachaça- white Brazilian rum made from sugar cane-is found in the rooms' fridges. Another unique aspect of the hotel is that it was constructed so that all rooms face the Municipal Park, providing all guests with a beautiful view.

A fact for those with a curious mind-before the hotel was built, there was a bar in the same spot, named "Bar do ponto". It was attended by the ex-president John Kennedy and other Bohemia lovers. This bar was transferred to the Othon Palace's second floor and is truly remarkable. You can still see the signs retained in memory of this historical place.
